Functieomschrijving Teammanager HR & Payroll Services

As part of the HR team within the Benelux, we offer a challenging position in which you can stretch your horizon within a vibrant and international organization with opportunities to learn and grow. You will become an important part of a dynamic family company with a great social relevance in its mission: Feeding the Future. In your role as Teammanager HR & Payroll Services, you are the linking pin between several corporate departments such as HR, Payroll, Pensions, Finance, Tax and Audit. You provide leadership in the field of HR and Payroll, as well as in change management.

Team management

You are responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of the team as well as implementing guidelines and assisting employees with business issues. You monitor the performance of the team to ensure the team meets the set goals and service levels. You work continuously to develop the individuals in the group by supervising, training and providing effective feedback and foster a cohesive, creative, and comfortable working environment.

Organizational structure and processes

You allocate tasks in the department resulting in efficiency and an effective structure with all processes compliant and auditable and – if necessary – the follow up of audit findings. You are aware of new methods, tools and systems for enhancing effectivity or efficiency in the HR and Payroll discipline and know relevant changes in fiscal, social and legal areas/laws. You coordinate projects, work with project teams and assign arising tasks to team members and mitigate consequences.

Delivery of service & communication

You manage expectations with business representatives for service and service levels and align the service levels with business needs. You maintain internal and external contacts with management, HR, Finance, Tax and third parties (suppliers) by organizing meetings and report structure. You are responsible for up-to-date online HR information including workflows and online reports.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, HR or other relevant field
  • 8 years relevant experience (preferable within an international company) and 2 years management experience in leading and motivating a team in a changing organisation
  • Result driven / Team player / Decision maker / Good business understanding / Flexible and able to cope well with change / Strong coaching and mentoring skills / Innovator / Inspiring / Strong in building relationships / Change manager / Entrepreneur / Influencer / Excellent communication skills / Fluent in English and Dutch language / Proactive / Process oriented / methodical / analytical and IT skills and problem solving ability
