Functieomschrijving HR Generalist

JOB PURPOSE

Provide in depth HR support for the regions of Netherlands, France, UK & Switzerland by advising on various complex HR queries and challenging employee matters both on local and global scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in depth HR support in all fields of HR
  • Partner with the business to advise and coach managers on various HR policies and employee related issues
  • Initiate, develop and coordinate HR policies and processes Identify employee issues and questions
  • Ensure compliance with all employment legislation
  • Coordinate and manage the complete recruitment process (create job descriptions, manage job postings, schedule and conduct interviews, collaborate with the business on finding the right fit etc.)
  • Administer payroll for the Netherlands, France and UK with external payroll providers,
  • Ensures all illness absence related procedures are followed Administer the pension scheme and additional insurances
  • Maintain and update all HR related administration, employee data and files
  • Participate in global HR projects and calls
  • Support expat assignments
  • Ensure consistency of processes and implement best practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive improvement initiatives throughout the organization
  • Coordinate health and safety responsibilities
  • Manage the company fleet for the Netherlands, France and UK

Functievereisten HR Generalist

EDUCATION / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • HBO+ education in the direction of Human Resource Management (obtained through education or working experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business partner in an international environment
  • Good level of written and spoken Dutch and English. French is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Being able to identify and implement HR initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of the Dutch labor law and regulations
  • Being able to build meaningful relationships and collaborations throughout the organization
  • Act in a professional manner when handling sensitive situations, confidential employee issues and data
  • Self-starter who can work independently, is accountable and shows strong work ethics and integrity
  • Flexible, open minded with a hands-on mentality
