Functieomschrijving Manager HR SSC

As HR Manager Shared Service Centre (SSC) you are responsible for the department that provides the personnel and salary administration for all employees of this company in the Netherlands. In addition, you are responsible for the administrative HR processes, the Dutch legislation and the HR systems for 6 locations.

The ambition of the HR Manager SSC is to further optimize the current work processes in the coming years, in which simplification and also automation play an important role. As HR Manager SSC you are part of the HR team. This fulltime job is based in Tilburg and you report to the Senior Regional HR Manager for the Netherlands.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • You are (jointly) responsible for thinking along, formulating and realizing the HR SSC strategy and objectives, which are in line with the strategy of HR and in general;
  • As an experienced manager, you are able to coach and develop your team of 3 employees for their talent and expertise and at the same time you can motivate them to use their broader responsibility as a specialist in the HR SSC;
  • You provide work-oriented and coaching leadership, steer on figures and on division of tasks in order to make employees work more efficiently with the help of the 'lean-way' of working;
  • You improve the quality and efficiency of the integral process in the chain management of HR by improving, standardizing and simplifying the processes. You work a lot with the business, the HR Advisors, as well as the Senior Regional HR Manager for the Netherlands who regularly act as the client;
  • Your team is responsible for the executive tasks of HR, like identifying HR administrative and reporting issues;
  • You can discuss improvements that are necessary for changes in legislation or advise structural solution;
  • Based on your connection and coordination with the business and your helicopter view, you know how to serve the organization with added value on HR by thinking from 'outside to inside' and by having the HR processes connected with it.

Functievereisten Manager HR SSC

Your key qualifications

  • An academic work and thinking level and proven experience in a similar job;
  • Experience with digital HR admin processes and the improvement of these processes;
  • Demonstrable affinity with change and chain management;
  • Responsible for payroll systems;
  • Preferably (a green belt) experience with LEAN or a similar methodology;
  • You are able to convince stakeholders at various levels of your findings and get involved in the steps to be taken and you can easily communicate;
  • Well-developed analytical and conceptual ability and knows how to translate this into concrete actions;
  • Dutch native speaker with good English language skills;
  • Result-oriented, self-starting and enterprising.
